Vice President, Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking - Visionary Solutions Limited

A boutique investment bank is expanding its US middle-market and small-cap investment banking franchise and is looking for a Vice President to join a small, senior Equity Capital Markets team. You'd work directly alongside the Head of Capital Markets on a mandate split roughly 80/20 between ECM execution and advisory work, giving you real exposure across both live deals and broader banking product from day one.

What you'll do:

1. Lead execution on a mix of equity transactions: IPOs, follow-ons, PIPEs, block trades, converts and other equity-linked deals
2. Run advisory mandates spanning private placements, reverse mergers and deSPACs
3. Own deal timelines end-to-end and act as the day-to-day client contact
4. Help shape origination and pitch strategy alongside senior bankers
5. Translate market color into clear, actionable recommendations for clients
6. Direct the work of junior bankers on live transactions

What you'll bring:

1. 5-8 years in investment banking, capital markets or private equity, with hands-on ECM transaction experience
2. Comfort running a live deal pipeline with minimal oversight
3. Strong communication skills and a generalist mindset across sectors
4. SIE, Series 63 and Series 79 required within 90 days of hire if not already held

Bonus points for:

1. A background at a mid-tier or boutique platform, or sell-side experience with a buy-side stint looking to return to the sell side
2. Familiarity with AI tools in the banking workflow
