Job description

Job Title: IOS Test Automation Architect – XCUITest
Location: Remote
Type: Contract - W2
Experience: 10+ Years

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced iOS Test Automation Architect to design and lead test automation frameworks for iOS applications. The candidate should have strong experience in XCUITest, XCTest, and Swift, along with expertise in test strategy, automation architecture, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities
•  Design and implement scalable, reusable test automation frameworks for iOS applications.
•  Define automation strategies for UI, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
•  Establish testing standards, coding guidelines, and quality metrics.
•  Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
•  Identify and fix flaky tests, improve test coverage, and optimize automation execution.
•  Perform test planning, risk analysis, defect investigation, and root-cause analysis.
•  Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
•  Mentor automation engineers and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills
•  Strong experience with XCUITest, XCTest, Swift, and iOS application testing.
•  Experience designing and developing test automation frameworks.
•  Knowledge of test strategy, test design, STLC, and risk-based testing.
•  Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, Jira, and test reporting.
•  Knowledge of API testing, backend validation, and real-device testing.
•  Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
•  Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Fastlane.
•  Knowledge of cloud-based device testing platforms and parallel test execution.
•  Experience defining automation KPIs, quality gates, and continuous testing practices.
•  Previous experience leading QA teams or organization-wide automation initiatives.
