Power BI Data Engineer

Lead  Tableau to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric transformation program, serving as the primary onsite interface between businessstakeholders and the offshore delivery team. Responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, migration governance, and successfuly delivery of Power BI/Fabric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·  Lead business workshops and gather reporting/KPI requirements.

·   Drive Tableau-to-Power BI migration planning and execution.

·  Define Power BI semantic models, governance, and reporting standards.

·  Coordinate with business users, architects, developers, and QA teams.

·   Manage UAT, stakeholder communications, risks, and project status reporting.

·  Ensure adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, OneLake, and enterprise reporting best practices.

Required Skills

·   10+ years in BI/Analytics and Data Warehousing.

·    8+ years of Power BI experience (DAX, Data Modeling, Power Query, Power BI Service).

·  Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Pipelines.

·  Strong Tableau to Power BI migration experience.

· Expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and enterprise reporting platforms.

·  Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·                     Experience leading onsite-offshore delivery models.
