The Thuma team is seeking a Director of Merchandising to lead merchandising strategy and business performance across assigned product categories.
This role serves as the General Manager of their categories, responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing category strategies, building assortments, driving financial performance, and ensuring Thuma continues to deliver a best-in-class customer experience across all channels.
The ideal candidate combines strong merchant instincts with analytical rigor. They are equally comfortable evaluating category performance, identifying whitespace opportunities, building long-term product roadmaps, and influencing cross-functional teams to execute against a shared vision.
This leader will partner closely with Product Development, Industrial Design, Sourcing, Finance, Retail, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to drive growth while ensuring every category reinforces Thuma’s premium positioning and long-term brand strategy.
Thuma’s Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco.
