Job Summary
We are looking for a Silicon & Hardware Test Engineer to support engineering teams working on advanced computing and semiconductor platforms. This role will focus on evaluating hardware platforms, developing test methodologies, analyzing results, and working with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute hardware and platform-level test strategies.
- Support early hardware evaluation and engineering characterization.
- Work with silicon, board, firmware, and systems teams during product development.
- Analyze test results and investigate unexpected hardware behavior.
- Develop scripts and utilities to improve test execution and data analysis.
- Support laboratory-based measurements and technical investigations.
- Participate in hardware/software integration and system-level testing.
- Document test methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve product quality and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in hardware testing, silicon validation, systems engineering, or related areas.
- Understanding of digital hardware and semiconductor-based systems.
- Experience with laboratory test equipment and engineering debug.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, C/C++, Perl, Tcl, or similar languages.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SoC, processor, FPGA, or semiconductor platforms.
- Exposure to high-speed interfaces or memory technologies.
- Experience with hardware characterization or platform qualification.
- Familiarity with automated test environments.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
