I'm working with an award-winning engineering consultancy that's continuing to grow its Civil Engineering team in Cambridge.

With a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, education, commercial, defence and public sector projects, they're looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to play a key role in project delivery and help mentor the next generation of engineers.

The Role<br />You'll be responsible for delivering a broad range of civil engineering projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction, working closely with structural engineers, architects and other multidisciplinary teams.<br />Projects include:

Residential developments<br />Education<br />Commercial developments<br />Defence projects<br />Healthcare<br />Public sector infrastructure<br />Typical responsibilities include:

Producing highways and drainage designs for development infrastructure projects.<br />Designing Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 schemes.<br />Preparing SuDS and drainage strategies.<br />Managing projects from feasibility through detailed design and construction support.<br />Liaising directly with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams.<br />Supporting fee proposals and assisting with project financial management.<br />Mentoring Graduate and Civil Engineers.<br />About You<br />You'll ideally have: 5+ years' UK Civil Engineering consultancy experience.<br />Strong highways and drainage design experience.<br />Experience delivering development infrastructure projects.<br />Civil 3D and drainage software experience (InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage or similar).<br />Working towards Chartership or already Chartered.<br />Strong communication and client-facing skills.<br />What's On Offer? £50,000–£60,000 DOE<br />Hybrid &amp; flexible working<br />25 days holiday + bank holidays + festive shutdown<br />Company pension<br />Health cash plan<br />Professional membership fees paid<br />Chartership support<br />Regular salary reviews<br />Annual social events<br />Cycle to Work scheme<br />Volunteering days<br />Early finish incentives<br />Genuine long-term progression within a growing multidisciplinary consultancy<br />If you're interested in hearing more, apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation
