Responsibilities

• Bring aerospace structural analysis background to solve complex problems and influence design decisions
• Contribute to programs with lasting impact on high impact aerospace programs
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in structural analysis techniques
• Perform static, dynamic, and/or DaDT structural analyses on metallic and/or composite airframe structures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure structural integrity and performance of aerospace systems
• Contribute to the development of new analysis methodologies and tools
• Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for structural improvements

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor''s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years of experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Master''s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Ph.D. degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis
• Experience performing static, dynamic, and/or DaDT structural analyses on metallic and/or composite airframe structures

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with finite element analysis software
• Knowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
