Job Description

Role IT Support Technician II– Onsite

Location: Location: 1340 Concord Terrace, Sunrise, FL 33323

Pay rate: $39/hr on W2
Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite, Monday–Friday
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
Hours: 40 hours/week; no overtime or weekend work
Duration: 3–4-month contract; medium possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs

 

Job Summary

  • This role provides onsite and remote technical support to employees through phone, chat, incident tickets, service requests, remote-support tools, and in-person assistance. The position supports local IT operations while also contributing to global service desk activities.The role is based in Atlanta and requires regular travel to the Alpharetta office to provide onsite support, assist with operational needs, and support scheduled business activities.Key areas of responsibility include new-hire onboarding, employee offboarding, laptop configuration and deployment, device collection, executive support, incident management, IT procurement, inventory management, and end-to-end device lifecycle management.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for Windows and macOS devices, business applications, peripherals, meeting-room technology, network connectivity, and access-related issues.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through phone, chat, remote-support tools, and onsite assistance while meeting established service-level and customer-experience expectations.
  • Configure, image, deploy, replace, collect, securely wipe, and redeploy laptops and other IT equipment.
  • Support new-hire onboarding and employee offboarding activities, including equipment preparation, setup, collection, and account-related coordination.
  • Provide workstation setup, office-move support, and technical assistance for executives and other priority users.
  • Maintain accurate ticket, asset, inventory, and device-assignment records.
  • Manage the complete device lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, repair, refresh, return, redeployment, and disposal.
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement, warranty support, repairs, and replacement activities.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate technical teams while maintaining ownership and communication through resolution.
  • Create, maintain, and improve knowledge articles, operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and other support documentation.
  • Support IT inventory management by tracking equipment levels, reconciling assets, and helping ensure appropriate device availability.

Participate in local and global service desk initiatives, process improvements, and operational support activities
