This is a key role supporting the ongoing development of the organisation's People Systems, with particular focus on ensuring high-quality employee data, supporting payroll readiness, and driving system improvements as the business prepares for the implementation of a new payroll system.

The Role

Working closely with HR, Payroll, Operations and venue management teams, you will take ownership of the organisation's HR Information System, ensuring employee data is accurate throughout the employee lifecycle while providing valuable reporting and analytical insights to the wider business.

You'll act as the primary systems expert, supporting users across the organisation and identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and enhance the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the HR system, including configuration, user access, security, troubleshooting and data integrity.
  • Act as the primary contact for the HR system provider.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Payroll, Operations and venue management teams to ensure accurate employee records.
  • Maintain employee lifecycle data, including starters, leavers, contractual changes, absences and timesheet information.
  • Carry out regular system audits, identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Produce HR and payroll reports, dashboards and data analysis to support business decisions.
  • Support system upgrades, testing and integrations alongside the Technology team.
  • Deliver system training and create user guidance to encourage best practice across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR and internal data governance policies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve system functionality.
  • Support HR and Payroll projects relating to system enhancements, integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong HR systems expertise with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience administering an HR Information System (UKG experience highly desirable).
  • A strong understanding of UK HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience working alongside payroll teams and managing payroll-related data.
  • Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of GDPR and UK data protection requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting UK payroll environments.
  • Involvement in HR system implementations, upgrades or integrations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and/or experience with HR reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience working within a growing or evolving organisation.
  • A degree in HR, Information Systems or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

What's on Offer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation that continues to invest in its people, systems and technology. You'll play a key role in shaping HR systems, improving data quality and supporting strategic business decisions, while contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking People function.
