Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Develop and enforce cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Stay current with the latest cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing architectures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders regarding cloud solutions.

• Proven experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, cloud security practices, and identity management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation purposes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues efficiently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
