Company Overview: A Los Angeles-based private equity and private credit firm with ~$5 Billion AUM is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join their dynamic and growing team. The firm focuses on a diverse range of industries, and this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, contribute to capital raising efforts, and support strategic growth initiatives across the portfolio.
The Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for:
- RFPs, DDQ, investor reporting, marketing materials and investor prospecting.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, and press releases.
- Monitor and analyze financial markets, peer performance, and industry trends to inform investor messaging.
- Support the planning and execution of investor events, including earnings calls, investor conferences, and roadshows.
- Maintain and update investor relations databases and contact lists.
- Respond to investor inquiries and coordinate with internal departments to provide accurate information.
- Track shareholder ownership and sentiment and prepare reports for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and communications teams to ensure consistent and compliant messaging.
The Investor Relations Associate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience in investor relations.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation metrics, and capital markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact confidently with senior executives and external stakeholders.
