.NET Developer - W2 only

The following requirement is open with our client.

Location                             : New York, NY(Onsite)

Pay rate                              : $54 - $57/hr on W2

Duration                            : 12+ Months

Role Descriptions:

* .NET Backend (8+ years) *

- ASP.NET Core Web API on IIS; Entity Framework Core (advanced: migrations, temporal tables, schema isolation)

- Domain-Driven Design in practice: aggregates, domain events, anti-corruption layers

- API design (RESTful, contract-first, versioned, paginated) including API Gateway / BFF patterns

- CQRS (MediatR), durable background jobs (Hangfire), real-time push (SignalR)

* Angular Frontend (5+ years) *

- Component architecture, lazy-loaded modules, reactive forms, RxJS

- State management with NgRx; real-time UI via SignalR/WebSocket

- Strong UX sensibility. Able to collaborate with operator SMEs and achieve mental-model parity with legacy screens

* SQL Server (5+ years) *

- Scalable schema design: high-volume tables, partitioning for growth, archival strategies, read/write separation

- Core design craft: normalization (3NF+), schema-per-service, indexing strategies (clustered, filtered, covering), constraints, temporal tables

- Performance optimization: Query Store, execution plan analysis, wait statistics, index tuning

* Distributed Systems & Messaging (5+ years) *

- Kafka/RabbitMQ at production depth: partitioning, consumer groups, exchange types, dead-letter handling, exactly-once semantics, clustering/HA

- Patterns: transactional outbox, saga/process manager, idempotent consumers

- Resilience: circuit breaker, retry with backoff, bulkhead isolation

- Event-driven architecture; contract-first API design

Must Have Skills:

.NET Developer

SQL Server, Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML, self-hosted agents)

IIS deployment automation (Web Deploy / msdeploy)

PowerShell, scripting, RESTful, API Gateway,

State Management, UI, WebSocket,

Angular, Kafka/RabbitMQ,
