Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated *Associate Attorney* to join our practice. The ideal candidate will assist with and manage real estate transactions and estate planning matters. We are open to *newly licensed attorneys* as well as *experienced practitioners*.
Responsibilities
- Handle residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
- Draft, review, and analyze real estate documents (purchase agreements, deeds, closing documents, etc.)
- Prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Meet with clients to gather information and provide legal guidance
- Maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and other professionals
- Manage matters independently or with supervision, depending on experience level
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the [State] Bar (or ability to become licensed promptly)
- Interest in or experience with real estate law and/or estate planning
- Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
- Professional, client-centered approach
Experience
- *Entry-level attorneys* are welcome; training and mentorship available
- *Experienced attorneys* should demonstrate prior work in real estate transactions and/or estate planning
