Associate Attorney – Real Estate & Estate Planning

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated *Associate Attorney* to join our practice. The ideal candidate will assist with and manage real estate transactions and estate planning matters. We are open to *newly licensed attorneys* as well as *experienced practitioners*.

Responsibilities

  • Handle residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
  • Draft, review, and analyze real estate documents (purchase agreements, deeds, closing documents, etc.)
  • Prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
  • Meet with clients to gather information and provide legal guidance
  • Maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and other professionals
  • Manage matters independently or with supervision, depending on experience level

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the [State] Bar (or ability to become licensed promptly)
  • Interest in or experience with real estate law and/or estate planning
  • Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
  • Professional, client-centered approach

Experience

  • *Entry-level attorneys* are welcome; training and mentorship available
  • *Experienced attorneys* should demonstrate prior work in real estate transactions and/or estate planning
