Civil Engineer / Site Development Designer

Description Join an established, family-owned company as a Civil Engineer / Site Development Designer in Lockport, NY, where your design expertise will support commercial and industrial development projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer / Site Development Designer position include: 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, with strong land and site development design skills.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field preferred. Professional engineering license preferred, not required; candidates working toward licensure are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing engineering designs and drawings. Develop site designs for primarily commercial projects, including offices, restaurants, retail facilities, and car dealerships, along with some industrial projects. Work directly under the on-site Civil Engineer in a design-focused role with limited management responsibilities.

Support site inspections, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance for engineering deliverables. Work fully in office Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; non-local candidates considered, with relocation assistance evaluated case by case.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation may be considered for a strong candidate.
