Role Descriptions:

·         ServiceNow Developer CMDB (Core Platform) What Success Looks Like the ServiceNow Developer (CMDB) is a key member of the core platform development team| responsible for designing| developing| and enhancing the ServiceNow CMDB and its associated integrations.

·         This role focuses on ensuring CMDB data integrity| platform stability| and secure integration of configuration data across the enterprise ecosystem.

·         The developer will enable accurate and reliable configuration management by building scalable solutions that align with enterprise architecture and operational needs.

·         Success in this role means: Delivering a robust| well-governed CMDB that supports service mapping| asset management| and operational decision-making Ensuring all integrations and enhancements maintain data accuracy| consistency| and security Proactively identifying| mitigating| and controlling risks impacting data quality or platform performance Supporting business operations by minimizing disruption and enabling trusted CMDB-driven insights

·         Duties & Responsibilities CMDB Development & Data Integrity Design and implement solutions to support CMDB data model enhancements| CI lifecycle management| and data governance Ensure accuracy| completeness| and consistency of configuration data across the platform Support CMDB alignment with CSDM and enterprise architecture standards Platform Development Design and implement ServiceNow solutions using best-practice development methodologies Develop custom applications and enhancements using JavaScript| Glide| Flow Designer| Service Portal| and related technologies Ensure all development aligns with platform performance| scalability| and maintainability standards Integration & Data Management Build and maintain integrations feeding the CMDB (REST/SOAP| MID Server| Data Streams| Scripted APIs| File Imports| Spokes)Ensure integration design supports accurate data ingestion| normalization| reconciliation| and deduplication Partner with infrastructure and application teams to ensure data flows into CMDB are reliable and aligned to standards Platform Stability & Issue Resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify| prioritize| and remediate CMDB and module-related issues Diagnose and resolve data discrepancies| reconciliation conflicts| and integration failures Continuous Improvement Drive ongoing CMDB maturity improvements| including automation| discovery optimization| and service mapping enablement Stay current with ServiceNow advancements and CMDB best practices| including security and data governance trends Delivery Ownership & Stakeholder Collaboration Work with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality| scalable CMDB solutions Own the full development lifecycle: design| build| test automation| and deployment
