Job Description

We are looking for R&D Technician I for our client in Miramar FL.

Job Title: R&D Technician I

Job Location: Miramar FL

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $13.00hr - $18.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D is required.
  • Completion of a formal Phlebotomy OR Medical Assistant program OR equivalent verifiable clinical experience (e.g., 1+ years in a clinical setting) is required.
  • Minimum one year experience in venipuncture (also known as Phlebotomy).
  • At least one of the following required: Completion of a formal Phlebotomy certificate OR Medical Assistant program certificate.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Able to obtain vital signs and perform ECGs.
  • Able to perform telemetry and insertion of intravenous catheters, or a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs conduct procedures in strict compliance to the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s), QA/QC procedures, OSH guidelines and other state and local regulations as applicable.
  • Provides assistance in the execution of clinical trials.
  • Ensures the well-being and safety of study participants.
  • Provides administrative and operational support.
  • Serves as an integral member of the site and study team during study processes, including pre-admit, admission, orientation, conduct, discharge and study close.

Qualification And Education:

  • One to two (1-2) years of experience in a clinical environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Physical Requirements(Due to nature of job, The candidate must have):

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to stoop.
  • Ability to bend.
  • Ability to lift materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and lean up to 4 hours.
