Solution Architect What They Would Do Client Facing Architecture Leadership

• Lead technology and architecture workshops with banking clients to design target state solutions.
• Present and demonstrate the Temenos platform covering integration patterns, Extensibility Framework, security architecture, and key point solutions.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout pre sales cycles and build credibility with senior stakeholders.

Solution & Proposal Development

• Author and own technical sections of RFIs, RFPs, and solution proposals.
• Design end to end Temenos solution propositions with sales, product, delivery, and partner teams.
• Translate client requirements into infrastructure sizing, integration blueprints, and migration strategies.

Thought Leadership & Market Engagement

• Represent BSG at regional banking events, exhibitions, and webinars.
• Contribute external content such as white papers, blog posts, and technical articles.
• Stay current on cloud, SaaS, and core banking technology trends.

Internal Collaboration & Commercial Awareness

• Work with sales colleagues to understand subscription licensing models, bank procurement cycles, and budget timelines.
• Improve pre sales assets, demo environments, and architecture reference materials.

What They Should Bring Experience & Background

• Substantial experience in solution architecture or senior technical pre sales within banking, FinTech, or financial services software.
• Proven record of designing and delivering mission critical banking platform implementations, including architecture definition, infrastructure sizing, data migration, systems integration, and customization.
• Previous exposure to core banking or financial technology vendor environments.

Technical Depth

• Fluency in cloud infrastructure and platform services across major providers (Microsoft Azure, AWS) and container/orchestration platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API management, middleware, and security architecture in regulated financial environments.
• Familiarity with retail and/or corporate banking operational processes and the technology stacks that underpin them.
• Working knowledge of cloud security frameworks, data residency requirements, and operational resilience standards relevant to banking (e.g., CPS 230, DORA).

Soft Skills & Commercial Acumen

• Consultative, client first mindset with strong active listening and diagnostic skills.
• Polished communication skills across workshops, boardroom presentations, written proposals, and public speaking.
• Commercial literacy across enterprise software pricing models, SaaS subscription structures, and bank procurement processes.
• Collaborative by nature, experienced in working across sales, product, delivery, and partner teams in a matrixed organization.
