Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer Cisco & Palo Alto

Deliver network infrastructure for a major Sydney office relocation, covering Cisco switching, routing, Wi Fi and Palo Alto firewalls. This senior role requires onsite attendance in Sydney.

Work Arrangement: Onsite
Contract Duration: 6 months, with possible 2 x 6-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1
Closing Date: 10.00am, 7 September 2026

Essential Tasks

• Design and implement network infrastructure for a new Sydney office.
• Install and configure routers, switches, wireless access points and firewalls.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain network performance, security and availability.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations and technical documentation.

Key Criteria

• Minimum 5 years' IT infrastructure and networking experience.
• Strong Cisco switching, routing, IP networking, Wi Fi and fibre optic expertise.
• CCNA certification and experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls.
• Experience supporting enterprise networks, with office relocation experience desirable.
