Oracle HCM QA Tester

The HCM QA Lead will serve as the overall testing lead for Black Veatchs Oracle HCM implementation program This role is responsible for developing and executing the testing strategy across all phases of the project including Conference Room Pilots CRP System Integration Testing SIT User Acceptance Testing UAT Payroll Testing Security Testing Data Conversion Validation and End-to-End Business Process Testing

The ideal candidate is a servant leader and testing program manager who can partner effectively with business stakeholders project leadership IT teams and the System Integrator to ensure successful delivery of a high quality Oracle HCM solution This role focuses on test strategy governance risk management stakeholder coordination and testing readiness

Key Responsibilities

Ensure BV QA standards processes and governance guidelines are followed throughout the project

Partner with the System Integrator and project stakeholders to develop and maintain the overall testing strategy test plans and testing approach for all project phases

Review business requirements functional designs and test artifacts to ensure adequate test coverage and traceability

Parter with SI for test planning activities for CRP SIT UAT payroll security integration and endtoend testing cycles

Manage testing activities within Azure DevOps including test plans test suites assignments dashboards metrics and execution tracking

Coordinate testing across Oracle HCM modules and integrated systems to ensure complete endtoend business process validation

Facilitate defect triage issue resolution and status meetings ensure defects are appropriately tracked prioritized and resolved

Provide training and guidance to CRP SIT and UAT participants on testing processes defect management and Azure DevOps usage

Partner with Business SMEs to develop UAT scenarios prepare business testers coordinate execution and support business signoff activities

Work closely with the Project Manager to communicate testing status quality metrics risks dependencies and readiness assessments

Proactively identify testing risks gaps and quality concerns escalating issues and providing recommendations to support informed project decisions

Provide quality assessments and recommendations to support GoNoGo decisionmaking and deployment readiness reviews

Serve as the primary QA liaison between BV business teams IT teams project leadership and the System Integrator

Establish and maintain a reusable regression test repository to support future Oracle quarterly release validation and test automation initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated servant leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority build partnerships across business and IT teams and drive testing activities in a collaborative manner

Have 12 years of experience in leading SIT UAT testing in AgileHybrid environment

Experience leading testing efforts for large SaaS implementations preferably Oracle HCM Cloud

Experience managing QA activities with SI through all the phases of testing is required

Experience in Data Migration testing Functional System Integration User Acceptance Testing E2E testing

Experience using Azure DevOps ADO for test management defect tracking test execution reporting dashboards and requirements traceability

Experience developing test artifacts such as Test Strategy Test Plans Test Execution and creating test data is required

Strong understanding of test data management environment coordination and testing dependencies across integrated enterprise applications

Excellent leadership facilitation communication stakeholder management attention to detail and documentation skills Experience leading testing activities conducting test runs and cycles defect tracking issue resolution and leading defect triage meetings is required

Excellent communication attention to detail documentation skills required

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies testing governance defect management and quality engineering best practices Certifications CSTE or ISTQB Certification preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology Engineering Technology with 12 years of relevant professional experience All applicants must be able to complete preemployment onboarding requirements if selected which may include anyall of the following background check
