We're looking for an Application Engineer to take ownership of a portfolio of enterprise applications, ensuring they remain secure, stable, available and continuously improving.

What you'll be doing Supporting business-critical enterprise applications in a live production environment<br />Managing incidents, problems and changes in line with ITIL best practice<br />Performing root cause analysis and driving service improvement initiatives<br />Monitoring application performance, availability and operational health<br />Supporting releases, deployments and production change activities<br />Working closely with business stakeholders, product teams and third-party vendors<br />Automating manual processes and enhancing operational efficiency<br />Contributing to operational resilience, disaster recovery and service continuity initiatives What we're looking for Strong experience supporting enterprise applications in production<br />Solid understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management<br />ITIL-based service management experience<br />Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills<br />Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms<br />Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment<br />Strong stakeholder communication skills Desirable Experience within wealth management, investment management, private banking or financial services<br />Knowledge of ServiceNow<br />SQL and scripting/automation experience<br />Experience working with third-party vendors and managed service providers<br />Understanding of operational resilience and security controls What's on offer ✅ Hybrid working (typically 50% London office / 50% remote) ✅ Opportunity to support high-profile financial platforms ✅ Collaborative technology team with strong investment in modernisation ✅ Excellent career progression opportunities ✅ Competitive salary, bonus and comprehensive benefits package If you're an Application Support Engineer, Production Support Analyst, Technical Applications Specialist or Application Engineer looking to move into a leading wealth management environment, we'd love to hear from you.
