Job Responsibilities:
- Design of Electrical hardware circuits (AutoCAD Electrical)
- Design of PLC Software programs and development HMI screens to customer specifications (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
- Conduct the peripheral device programming and machine PLC programming
- Supervise and coordinate and the machine debug, power up, and machine validation with mechanical build and electrical teams
- Set up and configure communication networks but not limited to device net, Ethernet and remote I/O
- Commission and validation systems at the customer's location
- Must be able to travel throughout North America to customer's locations.
- 3+ years with Controls and Electrical design
- Strong PLC programming experience
- Technical degree in an electrical related field preferred (Bachelor's preferred, but will consider other degrees and experience)
- Experience with material handling, conveyors, or other customer equipment is ideal. Experience with food industry equipment is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working with an ERP/MRP system and creating BOMs
- Ability to travel to customer sites for commissioning and installs as needed
- Valid driver's license
- Strong organizational skills
