The Role • Ensure the mechanical and electrical integrity of production equipment. • Perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and execute necessary repairs. • Collaborate with the team to recommend improvements for maintenance schedules and equipment performance. • Operate and manage food manufacturing equipment, including changeovers. • Provide coaching and support to colleagues, contributing to team engineering capability. • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Need • Formal engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). • Proven electrical and mechanical experience, including fault finding and diagnostics. • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and safe working practices. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • A flexible, hands-on approach with a willingness to support varying shift patterns.
