Job Description


We are seeking a Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager I to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in program management, consumer electronics, biocompatibility, and analytical testing and a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive material selection, testing, and compliant delivery of products.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage multiple projects across a fast-paced product development lifecycle.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to select biocompatible materials, coordinate samples, and schedule testing.

  • Communicate biocompatibility goals, plans, and findings to teams and leadership through clear presentations and traceable documentation.

  • Track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessments, establishing processes for efficient reporting and visibility.

  • Prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines and manage competing priorities.

  • Engage subject matter experts to build workflows, processes, SOPs, and specifications supporting biocompatibility.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • BS or MS in Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.

  • 2+ years of project or program management in a corporate setting.

  • Experience managing multiple complex projects with effective prioritization.

  • Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry concepts.

  • Clear and effective communication skills, including presentations and document traceability.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with disciplined follow-through.

  • Program management experience within consumer electronics and customer safety contexts.


Preferred Skills:



  • Industry experience in consumer electronics.

  • Knowledge of program development checkpoints and stage-gate or Agile practices.

  • Background in science or engineering fields related to Toxicology, Biomedical Science, or Engineering.

Additional Details


12-month assignment with potential extension. The role requires managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should be comfortable operating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers while upholding company policies and safety standards.
