Role: Solution Architect – Geocoding & API Migration
Location: 100% Remote
Mandatory Skills:
·       Enterprise Solution / Integration Architecture
·       Strong REST API, Swagger/OpenAPI and API contract experience
·       Java / Spring Boot architecture and code-review experience
·       API Gateway experience, preferably Apigee
·       Enterprise data integration, transformation and field mapping
·       Understanding of geocoding, address standardization, reverse geocoding and location identifiers
·       Vendor/COTS replacement and migration assessments
·       OpenShift/Kubernetes, CI/CD and deployment architecture
·       NFR assessment: performance, availability, resilience and DR
·       Strong stakeholder workshops and technical documentation

·       Precisely GeoAddressing / Spectrum
·       DMTI / LightBox Location Hub
·       HERE Geocoding APIs
·       Google Maps / Geocoding APIs
·       Apigee, OpenShift and enterprise DevOps

 Key Expectations / Job Duties:
·       Assess current product architecture, APIs and vendor integrations
·       Identify active consumers, API usage and downstream dependencies
·       Assess UAID / identifier dependencies and migration impact
·       Perform DMTI to Precisely and Google, and HERE functional/API parity assessment
·       Define and evaluate geocoding data-quality benchmarks
·       Review existing Java/API integration to identify required code changes
·       Assess NFR, security, deployment, DR and operational impacts
·       Identify gaps, risks and remediation requirements
·       Define migration architecture, testing, cutover and rollback approach
·       Produce the technical recommendation and implementation roadmap
