Senior Software Engineer

• Lead and mentor junior engineers, aligning development with technical standards and business objectives


• Design and implement robust, scalable software systems for Eftsure's product offerings


• Collaborate with cross-functional onshore and offshore teams to deliver software solutions on time and meet stakeholder expectations


• Conduct code reviews and create technical documentation to maintain code quality and longevity


• Research, recommend, and integrate tools and technologies that drive innovation


• Design scalable, secure systems protecting Australian businesses from payment fraud


• Develop and maintain software solutions meeting high standards of efficiency and scalability

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience as a software engineer


• Demonstrated expertise in software development, programming languages and patterns, development methodologies, and modern tools


• Ability to guide and inspire junior engineers


• Exceptional problem-solving skills


• Strong grasp of software architecture principles


• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory


• Relevant certifications are highly regarded


• Experience with Java, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, GitHub, GitLab, and .NET
