Job Title: AV Concierge SupportJob Description
This role provides dedicated, white-glove audio-visual support across a large corporate environment, ensuring more than 300 conference rooms and event spaces operate smoothly for in-person, hybrid and virtual meetings. You will independently manage, maintain and troubleshoot AV systems and peripherals, deliver high-quality support for VIP and executive meetings, and play a key role in live event production and technology coordination.

Work Environment
This role is based in a corporate facility, working alongside a team of three AV specialists supporting over 300 conference rooms in New York. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to work after hours or offsite for agency or corporate events when required. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with frequent interaction with stakeholders across digital, events, finance, new business and executive support. You will work with modern AV technologies, including Crestron, Poly, Cisco endpoints and leading video conferencing platforms, in a professional office setting that involves regular movement between rooms and spaces.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Independently operate, maintain, analyse, troubleshoot, repair and manage a wide range of audio-visual systems and peripherals across corporate conference rooms.
- Perform daily morning checks of all conference rooms to proactively identify issues and ensure all spaces are fully operational for scheduled meetings.
- Own pre-meeting AV checks and on-site support for high-profile events and VIP or executive video meetings, providing white-glove service.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating AV support coverage for high-profile events and executive meetings, ensuring appropriate resources are in place.
- Troubleshoot, upgrade and replace AV components as required, maintaining reliable and modern AV infrastructure.
- Apply a clear understanding of audio-visual signal flow to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Utilise a general understanding of industry-leading vendor equipment to support and optimise AV systems.
- Coordinate external vendor support when required, including scheduling repairs and liaising with suppliers to resolve complex issues.
- Adhere fully to standard business practices and procedures, meeting defined support performance metrics and service level agreements.
- Use ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools to log, track and resolve incidents and requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Consult on, manage and at times lead technology support for client pitches, ensuring meeting spaces and AV systems meet expectations.
- Provide strong technical support for Crestron, Poly and Cisco AV endpoints, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Support and troubleshoot Zoom, Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans and WebEx video conferencing platforms for hybrid and remote meetings.
- Deliver live event production and support, including setup, operation and breakdown of AV equipment for corporate events.
- Maintain consistent and accurate AV inventory management, tracking equipment, spares and consumables.
- Communicate in real time about any issues affecting high-profile events, ensuring stakeholders are informed and remediation is prompt.
- Support corporate AV meeting operations, including starting and monitoring meetings for executives, managing conference rooms and assisting with hybrid meeting setups.
- Manage conference room technology upgrades, installations and cabling, ensuring systems are up to date and fit for purpose.
- Provide hardware support for AV codecs, audio systems and video conferencing equipment, including Polycom and similar technologies.
- Regularly visit assigned spaces to ensure all equipment is operational, proactively addressing potential issues before they affect users.
- Investigate new AV and collaboration technologies and bring opportunities and recommendations to the AV team.
- Build relationships with business stakeholders in areas such as new business, finance, digital, events, accounts and executive assistance to understand upcoming needs and events pipeline.
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a proactive, hands-on approach, acting as a trusted technology partner to internal teams.
- 3-5 years of corporate audio-visual experience, including meeting support, white-glove executive meetings, hybrid meeting support and conference room management.
- Strong, hands-on AV troubleshooting skills across hardware, video conferencing, cabling, installation and audio systems.
- Clear understanding of audio-visual signal flow and the ability to apply this knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Corporate AV technology support experience, including managing upgrades and supporting AV codecs and peripherals.
- Experience supporting Crestron, Poly and Cisco AV endpoints.
- Experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans and WebEx video conferencing platforms.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems for incident and request management.
- Excellent customer service skills with an outgoing, confident approach suited to a fast-paced digital advertising environment.
- Exemplary communication and follow-up skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Ability to consult on and support client pitches and high-profile meetings, providing reliable and professional AV support.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple rooms, events and priorities simultaneously.
- Industry certification in audio-visual technologies (preferred).
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Experience with live event production and support in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a proactive "doer", taking ownership of technical issues, coordinating vendor repairs and ensuring equipment uptime.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a "thinker", looking ahead for potential issues, spotting new IT and AV opportunities and raising them to the AV team.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to understand business needs, speak in non-technical language and build relationships with senior leaders and support staff.
- Comfort working after hours and offsite when required for agency or corporate events.
- Ability to manage AV inventory accurately and maintain organised records of equipment and assets.
