Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Semantic Layer, and Enterprise Data Governance. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable cloud data platforms, designing semantic models, and implementing secure, governed data solutions in enterprise environments.

Product-based company experience is mandatory.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Strong experience designing and developing Semantic Layers and Semantic Models
• Expertise in Power BI, DAX, and enterprise reporting
• Strong SQL and Data Modeling experience
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Metadata Management
• Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS)
• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise Semantic Layers using Microsoft Fabric.
• Build scalable semantic models, metrics, hierarchies, and reusable business datasets.
• Develop and optimize cloud data pipelines.
• Implement data governance, security, and access control using RLS and OLS.
• Design enterprise data models for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Security teams.
• Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and compliance.
• Support enterprise reporting and self-service analytics.
• Optimize query performance for large enterprise datasets.
• Maintain documentation, data lineage, and governance standards.
