The Role

• Respond to service calls, diagnose equipment/system malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and other building products.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Service and install fire and life safety systems from various manufacturers.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring technician satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and mentor other members of the service team.
• Identify potential building inefficiencies and offer solutions to customers.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion, sound, and communication systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50-70 lbs.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• NICET II certification is preferred, along with technical training.
