Job Description
The Service Admin Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating service administration across Field, Fabrication, Workshop, and Customer Support functions. The role ensures compliance with company and OEM standards while driving operational efficiency, revenue assurance, and service profitability through effective workflow optimisation and proactive management of Work In Progress (WIP).
This position plays a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality service outcomes and supports the Warranty & Service Admin Supervisor through regular reporting, performance insights, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance and support strategic decision making across service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate end-to-end Service Administration activities, ensuring efficient service delivery and revenue assurance across all operational areas.
- Supervise and support the Service & Warranty Admin Supervisor and administration teams, driving accountability, performance, and workload alignment.
- Drive process standardisation, workflow optimisation, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Manage WIP, invoicing, and revenue assurance, ensuring timely billing, control of ageing, and minimisation of revenue leakage.
- Oversee customer interactions and reporting, ensuring timely resolution of queries/escalations and delivery of accurate performance insights to support decision making.
- Diploma or degree in business administration or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in service administration, customer support, or administrative operations.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within customer support.
- Experience managing teams with diverse responsibilities, including administrative and front line staff.
- Experience in construction, mining or heavy equipment industry is advantageous.
