Job Description

Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager Post-Trade Operations IT
Banking and trading
location: Iselin, NJ (Onsite)

Major Responsibilities
 
* Perform business analysis and project management to understand requirements for IT projects and execute projects primarily for the Operations department.
* Identify, document, and manage risks. Recognize issues and proactively create solutions to mitigate adverse impacts.
* Identify, document, and remediate gaps in processes and ensure alignment of the IT department with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
 
 
 
Required Qualifications
 
* Bachelor s or Master s degree in STEM fields, MBA, or related discipline(s).
* 10 15 years of work experience in IT, process re-engineering, or IT consulting.
* Programming, business analysis, and project/program management background.
* Experience liaising with vendors, service providers, technical and functional teams, users, and management.
* Hands-on experience performing gap analysis, managing data, and guiding other resources.
 
 
 
Additional Qualification (partially visible in image)
 
* Process mapping / process improvement experience.
* Quick learner of new technologies and tools.

Replace the clearance and settlement systems section with:
 
Familiarity with clearance and settlement service providers and systems (Broadridge Impact, BPS, Gloss, FIS products, Loanet, Global1, DTC, SWIFT). Exposure to supporting additional settlement and processing platforms is highly desirable. Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
