Data Centre Electricians/Trade Assistants

Protech is looking for electricians and electrical Technical Assistants with data centre experience for work in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

About the role:

- Casual roles starting ASAP
- Day shifts working Monday to Friday, possible Saturdays
- $45ph-$55ph + super + penalties + travel

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in communications, electrical, data cabling, or similar technical environments is essential for the role
• Install and support communications infrastructure in data centres
• Read and interpret project drawings and documentation
• Fibre and copper cable installations and terminations
• Work collaboratively with project teams
• Follow all site safety procedures and industry standards

You will have:

• Cert III in Electrotechnology (preferable)
• Strong understanding of data cabling standards and industry practices
• White Card (essential)
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Commitment to quality and safety
• Ability to work independently and within a team
