ServiceNow IRM Senior Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow IRM (Integrated Risk Management) Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow IRM solutions. The ideal candidate will independently drive IRM implementations, mentor junior developers, collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Security stakeholders, and actively participate in architecture review boards by presenting and defending technical designs aligned with enterprise governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow IRM solutions including:

o   Policy and Compliance Management

o   Risk Management

o   Audit Management

o   Vendor Risk Management

o   Operational Resilience (preferred)

·       Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer workflows, UI Policies, ACLs, and integrations.

·       Lead technical solution design, prepare HLD/LLD documentation, and support architecture governance processes.

·       Participate in Architecture Review Boards and confidently defend technical designs and implementation approaches.

·       Implement and automate risk assessments, compliance testing, audit workflows, issue management, and remediation activities.

·       Integrate ServiceNow with GRC, security, and enterprise platforms using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub.

·       Conduct code reviews, establish development standards, and ensure platform scalability and maintainability.

·       Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across IRM initiatives.

·       Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate governance, risk, and compliance requirements into scalable solutions.

Required Technical Skills

·       8+ years of ServiceNow development experience with 6+ years in IRM/GRC.

·       Strong expertise in:

o   ServiceNow IRM / GRC

o   Risk Management

o   Policy and Compliance Management

o   Audit Management

o   Vendor Risk Management

o   Flow Designer and IntegrationHub

o   CMDB and ServiceNow platform architecture

·       Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, and ServiceNow scripting.

·       Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and enterprise platform integrations.

·       Strong understanding of governance, risk, compliance, audit, and regulatory frameworks (SOX, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).

·       Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, Git, and CI/CD practices.

·       ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

·       ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

·       ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC)

·       ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Vendor Risk Management (CIS-VRM)

Preferred Certifications

·       ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Audit Management (CIS-AM)
