Relevant Experience

Minimum 8+ years of strong backend engineering experience.

Overall, only 10 years' IT Experience

Profiles must clearly demonstrate end-to-end ownership (design, development, testing, deployment, production support).

Core Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Strong hands-on experience in Java/Scala OR TypeScript/Node.js (as per the attached JD).

Proven experience building high-throughput, low-latency microservices and distributed systems.

Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, and at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB/DocumentDB/DynamoDB).

System Design & Architecture

Experience designing scalable, resilient systems handling high transaction volumes.

Ability to make architecture trade-offs and lead design discussions.

Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS Mandatory)

Strong hands-on AWS experience (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM).

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

Testing, Quality & Reliability

Strong experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing strategies.

Production support experience with incident analysis, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems (SRE mindset).

Observability & Monitoring

Hands-on experience with Datadog and/or Splunk.

Experience with distributed tracing, logging, metrics, and alerting.

Soft Skills (Mandatory)

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Proven ability to take initiative, identify risks, and drive improvements.
