The Role

• Represent purchasing interests and develop project-specific purchasing strategies.
• Coordinate purchasing efforts within projects and actively participate in project core teams and meetings.
• Identify and mitigate procurement-related potentials and risks within projects.
• Conduct project controlling and reporting for purchasing activities, including initiating Make or Buy decisions.
• Facilitate the flow of project-relevant information between purchasing, material procurement, and project management.
• Support the selection and management of subcontractors in collaboration with lead and local buyers.
• Prepare request and contract templates in coordination with legal counsel.
• Gather project-relevant documentation, such as service descriptions and quality requirements.
• Prevent Maverick Buying to ensure compliance.

What You'll Need

• Successful completion of a technical, business, or legal degree, or a comparable qualification with at least 4 years of relevant purchasing experience.
• Strong communication skills and a structured approach to work.
• Assertiveness and the ability to drive results.
• Proficient knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
