Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Major Urban Regeneration Sheffield City Centre | Contract | Competitive Day Rate A major Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support delivery of a significant urban regeneration project in Sheffield city centre.

The Role Working within an established site team, you will be responsible for setting out, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination, and technical delivery across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure works.

You will work closely with the Sub Agent and Agent to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately, and in accordance with the programme and specification.

Key Responsibilities Setting out civil and structural elements to the required tolerances<br />Producing and maintaining as-built records and quality assurance documentation<br />Managing ITPs, inspection records, and non-conformance reports<br />Reviewing drawings, raising technical queries and RFIs<br />Briefing subcontractors and operatives on methods and requirements<br />Maintaining daily site diaries, records, and progress photographs<br />Assisting with RAMS preparation and review<br />Supporting the Sub Agent and senior team with programme and delivery coordination<br />What You'll Need Relevant civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification<br />Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure, or urban realm projects<br />Proficiency in setting out using total station and GPS equipment<br />Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality<br />Good communication and organisational skills<br />SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid desirable<br />The Package Competitive day rate<br />Potential to be outside IR35<br />Long-term project in a dynamic city centre environment<br />If this looks like the your next proejct, apply via the button on screen, or send a CV to Connor at (url removed).
