Hogan Production Support Engineer (UMB/UMT)

Role Summary

Provide production support for Hogan UMB/UMT environments, ensuring system stability, operational excellence, and successful batch processing. Lead migration support, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with technology and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Hogan UMB/UMT production environments.
• Document, train, and support CTB teams on the Hogan migration process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Hogan migration issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Monitor and support QA and PAS batch cycles.
• Coordinate with CICS teams for new file implementations and issue resolution.
• Validate TEvents and monitor Key Range Rebalance across all environments.
• Perform system maintenance, including patches, upgrades, and production deployments.
• Monitor system health, availability, performance, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Lead incident management, problem resolution, and production stability initiatives.
• Ensure application governance, audit readiness, continuity testing, and compliance with technology standards.
• Mentor junior team members and promote operational best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience supporting Hogan Core Banking applications.
• Experience with UMB/UMT production support and Hogan migration activities.
• Knowledge of CICS, batch processing (QA/PAS), and mainframe production support.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with application governance, change management, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Hogan Core Banking, Umbrella (UMB/UMT), and IBM Mainframe technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale banking production environments and modernization initiatives.
