Job Description

About the Role:

Highly motivated and technically sound Business Development Manager to lead and expand our presence in the US market, focused on supplying mechatronics components (actuators, sensors, solenoids, control units, etc.) to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the turf care, off-highway, and small engine industries. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with commercial acumen and existing relationships in the targeted segments.

Key Responsibilities:

 Market Development:

·         Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, distributors, and Tier 1 suppliers.

·         Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to drive strategic positioning.

·         Build pipelines across turf care equipment, construction machinery, compact tractors, off-highway, RCV, snow-mobile and small engine markets.

 

 Customer Engagement:

·         Manage key customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact.

·         Understand customer applications and collaborate with engineering to propose optimal solutions.

·         Support product customization discussions and RFQ processes.

 Sales & Revenue Growth:

·         Achieve or exceed sales targets for the US market.

·         Drive product penetration and upselling opportunities.

·         Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with HQ and product teams.

 

 Collaboration:

·         Work closely with R&D and operations teams in HQ to ensure alignment with customer needs.

·         Report market feedback to support product development and innovation.

·         Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events.

 Qualifications & Skills:

·         Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field;

·         5–10 years of business development or technical sales experience in mechatronics, automotive, off-highway, or industrial equipment sectors.

·         Strong understanding of OEM procurement cycles and application engineering.

·         Demonstrated success in building customer pipelines and closing deals.

·         Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

·         Willingness to travel.

·         Experience working with brands like John Deere, Toro, Briggs & Stratton,

·         Husqvarna, Honda Engines, Kohler, Polaris, BRP or Kubota.

·         Familiarity with electromechanical system integration in small engines or off-road machinery.

·         Hands-on exposure to Tier 1/2 supply chain operations.
