Job Description

Senior Staff Lead Radar Integration & Test Engineer | East Syracuse, NY, United States | Remote | $115,700-$150,500 We're hiring on behalf of a global leader in defense and security, dedicated to developing advanced surveillance systems that detect and track aircraft. The Role • Lead the planning and execution of integration and test programs for verification and validation activities. • Develop and execute complex software and hardware test plans for system-level testing. • Guide integration activities and the development of test environments and tools. • Lead technical reviews, status meetings, and provide technical and programmatic guidance to internal and external customers. • Analyze test data, prepare briefings, and write comprehensive test reports. • Mentor and coach less-experienced engineers, sharing technical guidance and expertise. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics; Master's degree is a plus. • 15+ years of experience in a technical environment, with a strong focus on Test Engineering. • Proven experience leading Developmental Test and Evaluation, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). • Hands-on experience with Radar systems, including their software and hardware integration and testing. • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams. • Proficiency in C++, Linux, digital hardware, and MATLAB for tool development and systems analysis.
