Deep Financial Services expertise is not.

We're supporting a leading Financial Services organisation on the appointment of several AI specialists who combine outstanding technical capability with genuine industry knowledge. This is not a role for someone who has simply completed an AI project for a bank-we're looking for professionals whose careers have been built within Financial Services.

Whether your background is in Retail Banking, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Insurance or Payments, you'll understand the regulatory environment, the complexity of enterprise data, governance requirements, and how AI can be deployed safely to deliver measurable business outcomes.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive commercial experience delivering AI solutions in Financial Services.
• A career built predominantly within banking, insurance, capital markets, payments or wider FS organisations.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering production AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Strong Python and modern AI framework experience.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, orchestration frameworks and enterprise AI platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• A strong appreciation of AI governance, security, risk, compliance and regulatory considerations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with both technical and business audiences.

You'll likely have experience with:

• Agentic AI
• Generative AI
• Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama or similar)
• Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI architecture and enterprise integration
• MLOps and production deployment
• Responsible AI and model governance
• Enterprise data platforms

The technology matters.

However, your understanding of Financial Services matters even more.

We're specifically looking for professionals who understand the challenges, regulations, operating models and business processes unique to Financial Services and have repeatedly delivered AI solutions within that environment.

Permanent and contract opportunities are available, with highly competitive salary packages and day rates depending on experience.
