Senior Consultant, Cybersecurity

About The Role

The Cybersecurity Practice within FTI Consulting is a leading provider of independent cyber and risk management advisory services with a core offering focused on (but not limited to) Proactive Cyber Readiness, Incident Response and Complex Investigations & Litigation. We are seeking to appoint a Senior Consultant to our cybersecurity practice in Melbourne. What You'll Do

Perform a wide range of cybersecurity engagements in a fast paced, deadline sensitive environment; capturing the results accurately and concisely in written reports for a sophisticated client base consisting of top tier law firms, financial institutions and corporate enterprises.

Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, threats, methodologies and core technologies in order to assimilate client needs and design appropriate technical solutions.

Contribute to the assessment of current threat identification techniques and development of new methodologies and frameworks.

Travel to FTI Consulting's interstate and/or client locations as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in cybersecurity or similar technology discipline or agreed equivalent experience.
• A keen interest in cybersecurity preferably in governance, risk & compliance, with a desire to progress a career with an international cybersecurity consultancy.
• 2 4 years of cybersecurity experience preferable with exposure to consulting related activities.
• High level written and spoken English skills.
• The ability to work on multiple client matters at one time.
• The ability to work with limited supervision.
• The ability to work with senior team members and clients in time sensitive situations.
• A strong work ethic and integrity and high level of professionalism.

Compensation

Minimum Pay: $95,000
Maximum Pay: $110,000
Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual's location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
