The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely. • Visually inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in safe and operational condition. • Coordinate container movements with other yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a high standard of safety and uphold established operational procedures. • Perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and stairs to access railcars when necessary. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is strictly required for this position. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Open availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Willingness to undergo background verification, physical, and drug screening.
