Telecommunications Sales Engineer II

Cable One (Sparklight) is seeking a Sales Engineer II to support B2B growth across our broadband, voice, and video solutions. In this role, you'll partner with account executives to assess customer needs, design reliable telecom solutions, and deliver persuasive technical presentations for mid-sized and enterprise customers. You'll translate complex network concepts into business value, create proposals and diagrams, and support installs and post-sale handoffs. Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and understand customer technical requirements
• Design broadband, data, and voice solutions that align with customer needs and Cable One capabilities
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proposals to business clients
• Develop network diagrams, BOMs, and documentation to support implementation and handoff
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure solution feasibility and successful deployment
• Support RFP/RFI responses with accurate technical details and solution architecture
• Serve as a technical advisor to customers, translating complex concepts into clear business value
• Provide limited post-sale technical support and participate in customer meetings as needed
• Stay current on telecom technologies, products, and competitive offerings
• Contribute to a collaborative, customer-centric culture focused on reliability and local service
