The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders) to load and unload shipping containers. • Safely move and organize containers within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including 2nd or 3rd shifts, and weekends/holidays as determined by union seniority. • Basic communication and teamwork skills.
