Job: Technical Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE, need 12-13+ years Lead experienced candidates)

Location: Albany or Manhattan, New York (Hybrid)

Contract

The Senior IT Technical Lead for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a hands-on, expert-level role. This individual is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence of critical production systems. This role is less about managing project timelines and resources, and more about creating innovative solutions to improve a mission critical service. The technical lead will drive automation, optimize performance, lead incident response from a technical standpoint.

Mandatory Qualifications

·  12-13+ years of IT experience, with significant experience in senior-level SRE

·  Strong collaboration skills with engineering, operations, and senior leadership.

·  Strong hands-on experience with SRE principles and enterprise production systems.

·  Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

·  Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/containers and microservices.

·  Strong programming/automation experience, preferably Python.

·  Experience with automation and infrastructure tooling.

·  Strong observability experience with monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing.

·  Experience with platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, or similar tools.

·  Strong production incident response, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and capacity planning experience.
