Kafka Senior Administrator

Required Technical Skill Set

• Administer and support Confluent Cloud / Kafka platform environments.
• Configure and manage Kafka connectors, connector health, task failures, and deployment across environments.
• Manage security on Confluent Cloud, including RBAC, service accounts, credentials, and access controls.
• Configure and manage Schema Registry, schema lifecycle, compatibility rules, and schema governance.
• Manage topics, partitions, retention, DLQ topics, and platform-level configuration.
• Support Cluster Linking / replication / platform configuration where required.
• Support monitoring, audit logging, alerts, and operational readiness for Kafka platform components.
• Work with integration teams to support Kong Gateway-related API connectivity readiness and environment setup.
• Support SIT and E2E test phases by resolving connector, schema, topic, security, and platform issues.
• Perform platform troubleshooting, defect analysis, and production-readiness support across DEV / SIT / UAT / PROD.
• Work with GitLab-based deployment and automation processes for platform changes and controlled releases.
