Job Description

Job Title: ServiceNow SOMT Developer
Location: 100% Remote


Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SOMT Developer with hands-on experience in Sales and Order Management for Telecommunications (SOMT). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that support telecommunications sales, quoting, order capture, orchestration, fulfillment, and service lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate should have strong ServiceNow development skills along with knowledge of telecommunications order management, Product Catalog, CPQ, Order Management, Service Fulfillment, and CRM/OSS/BSS integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and develop ServiceNow SOMT applications and modules.
  • Design and implement Product Catalog, Commercial Catalog, Product Offerings, and Service Offerings.
  • Develop and maintain Order Management workflows and fulfillment orchestration.
  • Configure Quote Management, Opportunity Management, CPQ, and Order Capture capabilities.
  • Develop ServiceNow solutions using:
    • Client Scripts
    • Business Rules
    • Script Includes
    • UI Actions
    • UI Policies
    • Flow Designer
    • Integration Hub
  • Build and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with CRM, ERP, OSS/BSS, billing, inventory, and fulfillment systems.
  • Support telecommunications order decomposition and service fulfillment processes.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and solution reviews.
  • Create technical documentation, test plans, deployment guides, and support documentation.
  • Support ServiceNow upgrades, release management, testing, and production deployments.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, implementation teams, and client stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • 1+ year of hands-on ServiceNow SOMT experience.
  • Strong JavaScript development skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
  • Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Service Catalog and workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications order management and service fulfillment.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Telecommunications industry experience.
  • Knowledge of TM Forum concepts.
  • Understanding of telecom service lifecycle management.
  • Experience with CRM, OSS/BSS, ERP, billing, inventory, and fulfillment integrations.
