Job Title: Product Manager - Trainee

Role Overview

We are looking for highly motivated and analytical MBA graduates to join our team as Product Manager - Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring product professionals to work closely with product leaders, engineering teams, and business stakeholders in building next-generation AI-powered accelerator platforms, products, and enterprise solutions.

The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in product strategy, customer research, market analysis, roadmap planning, and product lifecycle management while contributing to innovative AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Product Leaders in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Conduct customer research to understand user needs, business challenges, and pain points.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
• Define and document use cases, user stories, and product requirements.
• Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Work closely with highly skilled engineering teams developing AI-based platforms, products, and solutions.
• Support market research activities, including industry trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and product documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• MBA (2025 Pass-out or later) from a reputed Business School with a First-Class academic record.
• 0-1 year of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, Technology Management, or related areas.
• Specialization in one or more of the following:
• IT Management/Information Systems Management/Technology Management/Digital Transformation/Analytics
• Strong understanding of product management concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business problems into product requirements and use cases.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to work from Chennai.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.
• Understanding of:
• Generative AI (GenAI)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Agentic AI
• Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise software products and digital platforms.
• Strong business acumen with an innovation-driven mindset.

Relevant Experience Preferred

• Academic or internship projects related to Product Management, Business Analysis, AI, Analytics, or Digital Transformation.
• Exposure to customer research, market analysis, or competitor analysis.
• Experience preparing business cases, product presentations, or strategic recommendations.
• Participation in product management competitions, hackathons, innovation challenges, or startup initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams comprising business, technology, and marketing functions.
