Job Description

The Digital Banking Business Operating Model Lead will define the future-state business operating model for digital banking products and customer journeys while serving as the primary business counterpart to technology vendors.

This role will help accelerate business decision-making currently constrained by limited SME availability and fragmented product ownership.

The individual must bring deep banking operations and digital product expertise while working hands-on with business stakeholders to rapidly finalize operational and product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operating Model Design

Design future-state operating model for:

  • Digital customer onboarding
  • Payments processing
  • Domestic transfers
  • International transfers
  • Account servicing
  • Customer self-service channels

Product Ownership

Define business product decisions across:

  • Customer onboarding journeys
  • Account opening workflows
  • Digital payments journeys
  • Beneficiary management
  • Transfer approvals
  • Payment limits and controls

Vendor Business Coordination

Act as primary business counterpart to:

  • CR2 Digital Banking Team
  • Finastra Core Banking Team
  • Payments integration vendors

Business Decision Acceleration

Drive decisions on:

  • Customer journey design
  • User experience flows
  • Product rules and eligibility
  • Operational ownership model
  • Exception handling processes

Process Transformation

Design future-state business operating processes for:

  • Retail banking operations
  • Payment operations
  • Customer servicing model
  • Operational controls framework

Required Experience

  • 10+ years banking operations or digital banking product management experience
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Retail Banking Operations
    • Digital Banking Channels
    • Customer Onboarding
    • Payments Operations
    • Banking Product Management

Preferred Experience

  • Digital banking transformation programs
  • Experience working with digital banking platforms
