This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, organised and commercially minded individual to join a growing distribution team supporting the sales of investment products to financial advisers, wealth managers and institutional investors across the UK.
You'll work closely with experienced business development professionals, gaining invaluable exposure to investment markets, client relationship management and the commercial side of asset management. This role offers genuine progression into client-facing sales, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop into a Business Development Manager or Regional Sales Consultant.
The OpportunityAs Sales Support Executive, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the distribution team operates efficiently while delivering an exceptional experience to clients and prospects.
You'll become the central point of coordination for sales activity, client communications, marketing materials and CRM management, helping the team identify opportunities, strengthen relationships and win new business.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining administration, relationship management, project coordination and commercial support.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of Distribution and wider sales team with day-to-day business development activity.
- Maintain and develop the firm's CRM system, ensuring client information is accurate and up to date.
- Produce and update high-quality client presentations, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), pitch materials and sales collateral.
- Coordinate client meetings and assist with follow-up communications.
- Respond promptly to client enquiries and support the preparation of meeting documentation.
- Assist with Requests for Proposal (RFPs), consultant questionnaires and external database updates.
- Support the organisation of investor events, webinars and conferences.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support future product development.
- Produce management information and reporting for the distribution team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across investment, marketing and senior leadership teams.
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and eager to build a career within investment management.
You'll likely have:
- A degree or around 2+ years' professional experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and confident approach when dealing with clients.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine interest in financial markets.
Previous experience within asset management, wealth management or financial services would be advantageous but is not essential.
