About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mixed-signal electrical systems for medical devices. This role works cross-functionally to take products from concept through commercialization while ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Top Skills

• Mixed-signal PCB design - architecture, schematics, PCB layout, and verification
• Medical device electrical engineering with IEC 60601-1 experience
• Hardware debugging and validation using oscilloscopes, logic/network analyzers, and DMMs
• Signal integrity, circuit analysis, and system integration
• Experience with regulated medical devices and component obsolescence

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify mixed-signal electrical systems and PCBs
• Create schematics, specifications, and support PCB layouts
• Perform hardware integration, debugging, testing, and validation
• Ensure compliance with IEC 60601-1 and applicable regulatory standards
• Support component obsolescence, risk assessments, and design updates
• Investigate customer complaints and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, quality, and manufacturing teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of Electrical Engineering experience or Master's degree with 2+ years
• Strong mixed-signal board design and hardware verification experience
• Regulated medical device development experience required
• OrCAD experience preferred
• Agile development experience is a plus
